On Friday, August 25, 2023, Dr. Satoshi Kubota visited VNU University of Science, where Dr. Tran Trung Thanh, a graduate of the Kuroshio Sciences Program, belongs. First, he visited the Biological Museum near the center of the Old Quarter, where they had a discussion with Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, the Director, and Dr. Tran Trung Thanh about collaboration with Kochi University, followed by an introduction to the facilities of the museum. After that, they moved to the main campus and paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Pham The Hai, Dean of the Faculty of Biology. Before this visit, on the evening of Thursday the 24th, they had dinner with Dr. Hoang Huu Chien (an alumnus of Kuroshio Science Program), lecturer and researcher at Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
